We at Shloc love indie games with a ferocious and burning passion, and Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP was one of the first titles to show us just how much potential there was waiting outside the mainstream.

Almost a decade later (where does all the time go?) JETT: The Far Shore™ popped up on our radar when it was teased at one of the PlayStation®5 events, and we were instantly taken with the serenity and slickness of its presentation, its hypnotic soundtrack, and its compelling space-exploration theme—which is very much Our Kind of Thing.

Needless to say, when our friends at 8-4 got in touch soon after to ask if we might be interested in working with them to localise the game, we (as politely as possible) bit their hands off.

Superbrothers proved a dream to work with, giving us everything we needed to make sure the French, Italian and Spanish versions retained all the magic of the original English.

We’re extremely proud to see JETT go out into the universe, and to have had the chance to work with such a trailblazing team.
